Rose Marie Schneider

Schneider, Rose Marie "Margie"(Kohler), 87, of O'Fallon, MO, beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, entered into Heaven on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. She was born in New Melle, MO, on January 21, 1922 to Regina and William Kohler. She was the loving wife of the late George Schneider, Henry Davis and Ted Lee; sister of the late Mary Oetker, Anna Fries, Louise Gillette, Kathryn Kennedy, Joseph, John, Anthony, Raymond and Sylvester Kohler; mother of the late Donald Schneider. She retired from Schnucks at the age of 70. She was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, WOWS and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 5077. She loved to write short stories, cook for her family and watch her grandchildren. She made wedding cakes, loved to sew, read, dance, garden, crochet, sing, bowl and travel. She went back to school at the age of 60 and obtained her GED and learned how to drive in 1961 at the age of 39. She is survived by 8 children, Shirley (Joe) Noel of Owensville, MO, Jeri (Larry) Schulze of Jonesburg, MO, George (Pam) Schneider of Kingsport, TN, Kenneth (Rene) Schneider of St. Peters, MO, Susan (Chuck Beach) Schneider of St. Peters, MO, Chris (Sharon) Schneider of Troy, MO, Nancy (Charles Pierce) Schneider of St. Peters, MO, and Lori Davis (Dale) Lee of St. Peters, MO. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Rose's heart lives in all of us as do her memories. We love you Mom.
