Rosemarie Baker (nee Voges) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away at the age of 99 on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Baker; her son, Donald (Marlene) Herbig; her parents, Henry and Lucille Voges; and her brother, Robert Voges.
Rosemarie is survived by her son, Robert (Phyllis) Herbig, Sr.; her grandchildren, Robert Herbig, Jr., Tim (Theresa) Herbig, Scott (Rachel) Herbig, John Herbig, and Kim Herbig; her nephew, Bill (Susan) Voges; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Rosemarie was a talented hair dresser and owned and operated her own business – Curls and Pearls Beauty Salon. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and made many friends there. Rosemarie always stayed active. She loved to go down to the casino and play the slots and even began painting at 97 years old. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
