Rosemarie Jackson

Rosemarie Jackson (nee Koester), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Donald Jackson; cherished daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth Koester. Devoted mother of Paulette Michel, Pauline (Mark) Neeley, Donna (Glenn) Schrader, and Nancy (William) Dempski; loving grandmother of Shawn Primeau, Crystal (Brad) Taylor, Sarah (Dennis) Held, Melissa (Michael) Bigler, Ashley (Tim) Dempski, Danielle (Brian) McGovern, Kyle Schrader, and Austin Dempski; loving great-grandmother of 13, dear great-great grandmother of 1; special friend to George & Suzanne Cateman.  

Rosemarie was a woman of faith and a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Charles, MO.  Her passion was serving others and made it her life mission. Rosemarie spent her mornings in prayer and her evenings putting together puzzles, which she generously shared with those she cared about. She also enjoyed a good card game of solitare, rummy and the like. Rosemarie was the life of the party and always had a good time. She enjoyed staying active and was involved on a woman’s softball league in Florissant for many years. Rosemarie loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially Austin who always made her smile. Rosemarie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Rosemarie's name to Masses at St. Peter's or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
