Rosemarie M. Raffel (Mueller), of St. Charles, MO passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 88. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her brothers: Ernest Mueller and Edward Mueller; two daughters: Julie (Larry) Babcock and Colleen (Tom) Paterson; grandchildren: Michael (Lindsay) Noser and Elizabeth Paterson; great-grandchildren: Cameron Noser and Chase Noser.
After graduating from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Rosemarie worked compassionately as a registered nurse. Her last nursing position was at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. She enjoyed cultivating flowers and plants, puzzles, birdwatching, and artistic activities.
Rosemarie was a long-time member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church. She was married to Paul A. Raffel for 62 years. Rosemarie’s claim to fame was that she was the first Ohio Swiss Festival Queen in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
Rosemarie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her family and friends will miss her dearly! She will always be in our hearts.
