Rosemary Bossie

December 5, 1937 — January 21, 2025

Chesterfield, Missouri

Rosemary Bossie of Andes, New York and Chesterfield, Missouri, died on January 21, 2025, peacefully with her family by her side.

Survived by daughter Donna Meade (Michael), granddaughters Bailey Meade (Jacob Diamond) and Shelby Akos (Brendan), great granddaughter Hazel Meade of St. Louis, Missouri; brothers Charles R. Clements (Dorothy) of Madison Heights, Virginia; Robert Clements (Anne) of Inman, South Carolina, and loving family members of the Bossie and Tetley Family from the Lincoln, New Hampshire area.

Rosemary is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Richard Bossie, and her son Michael Bossie.

In her retirement years, Rosemary and Richard enjoyed traveling, and split their time between their home in Andes, New York and Vero Beach, Florida.

Known for her spunky spirit, Rosemary was a lifelong lover of animals and an active volunteer of the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society in Delhi, NY and the Andes Historical Society Thrift Shop. She poured her heart into quilt making, and had a deep appreciation for antiques, both of which fill the homes of family today.

The family would like to thank Phoenix Hospice Staff and the staff at Barathaven Memory Care Facility for their support and care. The family will host a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society
