Rosemary Grabenhorst, born January 14, 1932, to Albert and Lillian Sigmund, passed away peacefully in her home on January 4, 2025, just shy of her 93rd birthday. Her life was a testament to love, family, and resilience.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lillian Sigmund, her beloved husband, William Grabenhorst, her brother and sister-in-law Robert (Doris) Sigmund, her sister and brother-in-law Doris (Kenneth) Renken. She is lovingly remembered by her eight children: Mark (Betty) Grabenhorst, Sandra (the late Donald) Parr, Bruce Grabenhorst, Donna Groeblinghoff, Bart (Kathy) Grabenhorst, Fay (Luke) Gnade, Becky (Kevin) Buechler, and Todd (Shara) Grabenhorst. Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren—Paula Taylor, Pamela Grabenhorst, Brian Parr, Sherry (Jason) Jordan, Kevin Parr, Zachary Groeblinghoff, Jacob Groeblinghoff, Joe (Amanda) Groeblinghoff, Dustin Groeblinghoff, Brandon (Kema) Grabenhorst, Chloe Grabenhorst, Nathan Grabenhorst, Andy (Brooke) Gnade, Jeremy (Abigail) Gnade, Craig Buechler, Ben Buechler, Kelly (Allen) Gillespie, Jason Grabenhorst, and Krista (Shane) McNeil—and her 24 great-grandchildren.
Rosemary was a life-long member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the ladies sodality quilting club with St. Paul Catholic Church.
Rosemary cherished the bonds she shared with her family and friends throughout her long and fulfilling life.
Rosemary’s warmth and dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
