Rosemary Ruth Colson

Rosemary Ruth Colson (nee Long), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018, at the age of 83. Loving wife of 62 years to William Edward Colson; beloved daughter of the late Edgar Edward and Neville Gertrude Long; devoted mother of Steve (Pam) Colson and Deborah (Mike) Haeffner; cherished grandmother of Andrew Colson, Ryan Colson, Chris (Cheryl) Haeffner, and Katie (Jason) Weinkein; treasured great-grandmother of Douglas and Curtis Haeffner, Gracie & William Weinkein; dear sister of Shirley Crouther.
Rosemary worked for many years as a Secretary at Riverview Gardens School District before retiring. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and going on cruises. Rosemary loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials contributions may be made in Rosemary’s honor to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
