Lane (nee: Pappert); dear son of the late W.T. & Pearlie Lane; dear father of Barbara Koester (Steven); dear grandfather of Susan Cheney (Mark), Michael Knapp (Jenny), and Scott Knapp (Taya), Christopher and Laura Koester; great-grandfather of Katie and Michael Ragan; Mitchell and Madeline Knapp; dear stepson of the late Nora Lane; dear brother of Mildred Chadwell and the late Leo and Charlie Lane, Fannie (Watson) Mason and Ana Arends. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many many friends across the U.S..
