Rowland Taylor Stockton
November 10, 1934 — December 21, 2020
Rowland Taylor Stockton of Hazelwood, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Belva Stockton.
Rowland is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Stockton; his children, Mark Taylor (Jan) Stockton, Robin (Thomas) Mareschal, and Sherrie (Mike) Ward; his grandchildren, Ryan Stockton, Jeffrey Stockton, Clay Mareschal, Marisa Mareschal, Jennifer (Nick) Ebner, Emily Ward, and Kyle (Riley) Ward; his great-granddaughter, Aubrey Ebner; and his siblings, Phyllis Voss and Keith Stockton.
Rowland was a veteran of the US Army. He was a man of faith and belonged to Hazelwood Baptist Church where he showed his devotion to God through singing in the church choir. An avid reader, Rowland enjoyed spending his time with a great book – especially the works of Charles Spurgeon which Rowland was familiar with in their entirety.
Memorial contributions in Rowland’s name may be made to a Church of the Donor's choice.
