Roy C. Ramsaroop

Roy C. Ramsaroop of North Canton, Ohio passed away on May 2, 2018 at the age of 77. Loving, devoted father of four children: Vashti Ramsaroop, Suresh Ramsaroop, Gandhi Ramsaroop and Maria (Ramsaroop) Bingaman; and three grandchildren: Taylor Ramsaroop, Camille Ramsaroop and Dahlia Ramsaroop; and is survived by his three sisters Evelyn Mohabir, Glysis Ciarla and Doreen Murthy. Roy was the youngest of five children and was loved and cherished by his parents and siblings.

He went to the United States for college, receiving a Ph.D in Economics at St. Louis University. He showed his love to others with his generous, Christian spirit. He loved to laugh with people and often made others laugh. He was an avid reader and loved to keep up with current world events. He taught economic and business courses at several colleges, retiring from Malone University in Canton, Ohio. He loved cooking, enjoyed nature and appreciated several genres of music including classical, bluegrass and southern gospel. He will be remembered as a man of faith, devoted brother, loving father and treasured grandfather.
