Roy E. “Jack” Dunn

Roy E. "Jack"Dunn, of Edwardsville, Illinois, died on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the age of 86. Dearest husband of the late Betty J. Dunn; dear son of the late Eugene H. and Mary E. Dunn; devoted father of Daughters, Carole (Rich) Schwarzen, Sandy (Chuck) Sullivan and Terry (Mary Ellen) Dunn; beloved grandfather of Christopher & Timothy Schwarzen, Rebecca Williams, Shawn & Matthew Sullivan, Patrick & Shannon Sullivan, Kyle & Brendan & Sean Dunn; great-grandfather of 12; dear brother of Donald (Ruth) Dunn; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers, and sister, Howard, Robert and Ken Dunn and Clara Louise Edwards. Jack was employed as a Plant Manager at Reynolds Metals Company in St. Louis before his retirement. He was a Master Technical Sergeant in the Marine Corps; enjoyed playing golf; made a hole-in-one at Pomme Creek golf Course; on the Board at St. Peters Senior Center; member American Legion in Cincinnati, OH; served on the Board at Crown Colony Condominiums; worked for 22 years at Diamond International in Lockland, OH. Memorials may be made to St. Peters Senior Center, Meals On Wheels from St. Peters Senior Center or Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home.
