Roy G. Hammock

Hammock, Roy G., of Winfield, Missouri, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 77.  Loving husband of the late Jewell Hammock; beloved son of the late Virgil and Nellie Hammock; devoted father of Ronald G. (Brenda) Hammock, Randy L. (Nancy) Hammock, Teresa J. (Keith) Ham, and Kathy L. (Mark) Spalding; cherished grandfather of Julie (Dennis) Buehrle, Jessica Hammock, Rachel Hammock, Sarah Hammock, Krista Hammock, Rebekah Hammock, Kyle (Gina) Spalding, Meagan Spalding, Curtis Ham, and Zachary Ham; treasured great-grandfather of Emma Jewell Spalding; dear brother of Betty L. Britt, Dorie C. (Frank) Hill, and Jim C. (Josie) Hammock. Roy is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.

Roy was a Christian man and very active member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a Sunday school teacher and bus driver for his church, who would also assist in any other way that he could. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, hunting, fishing, and building furniture for church and family. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his many grandchildren.
