Roy O. Western

Roy O. Western, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at the age of 85.  Loving husband of JoAnn Western; beloved son of the late John W. and Lydia M. Western; devoted father of Michael (Cynthia) Western, John (Carla) Western, Pamela (Dewayne) Bell, and late infant son, Roy Michael Western; dear grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of eight; dearest brother of Essie "Pet" A. Forrester.  Roy was preceded in death by his siblings, Otis Western, Coy A. Western, and Hazel E. McNulty.

Roy proudly served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from the Department of Defense as a Logistics Supervisor.  With his passion for golfing, he enjoyed working at Bogey Hills Country Club, St. Andrews Golf, and St. Charles Golf Course.  He restored a 1972 Corvette, which was painted a limited color Steel City Gray Mist.  Roy was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
