Roy W. Plackemeier

Plackemeier, Roy W., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Audrey Plackemeier; beloved son of the late Hugo and Adelaide Plackemeier; devoted father of Ron (fiancé Sharon Mattingly) Plackemeier and Kevin (Elly) Plackemeier; cherished grandfather of Alexandra (Jerry) Meurer; treasured great-grandfather of Emilee, Zachary, and Olivia Meurer. He is preceded in death by his brothers Arthur and Maurice Plackemeier.
Roy was the founder and operator of Roy's Garage in Harvester. Roy proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII and was in the occupation forces in Japan. He was a member of the American Legion Post 313, a member of the Alliance Automotive Service Providers, and a founding member of C & H Athletic Association. He enjoyed his farm, the outdoors, hunting with his friends at Massas Creek, and wine making, but most of all he loved being with his family.
