Ruby M. Hollrah

Ruby M. Hollrah, 94, a lifelong resident of Weldon Springs and St. Charles, died peacefully in the morning on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at St. Josephs Hospital. Ruby was born May 1, 1917 in Weldon Springs, the daughter of William and Anna (Schneider) Hoffman. She married Kermit Hollrah on May 17, 1941 at her home. Mrs. Hollrah was an elementary school teacher in Weldon Springs and at Immanuel Lutheran School in St. Charles. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for over 70-years. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry & Linda of St. Charles and Ted & Jeanne of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren, Scot of St. Charles, Vicki (& Matt) Daley of Orlando, Florida, Adam of Van Buren, Arkansas, Brandon (& Nicole) of Fort Worth, Texas and Carson of Orlando, Florida; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Hollrah and Mackenzie & Dawson Daley; and eleven brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Jane Hoffman, Katherine Hoffman, Marion & Warren Bekebrede, Virginia Bekebrede, Betty Hollrah, Carolyn Wiegman, Lorraine & Sam Bisanti and Lois & Fred Richterkessing. Memorial contributions can be made to Lutheran World Relief in care of Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO. 63301.
