Ruby L. Plume

Ruby L. Plume (nee Gutermuth), of St Charles, MO, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Harry A. Plume; cherished daughter of the late Theodore and Ella Gutermuth. Devoted mother of Carolyn Plume, Steve (Kathy) Plume, and Gayle (Ralph) Emke; step-mother of Mary Lou (Jerry) Kleeschulte; loving grandmother of Christopher (Katie) Plume, Julie (Jason) Draper, Jennifer (Blake) Schmidt, Cynthia (Charlie) Bedgood, and Daniel (Rachel) Plume; treasured great-grandmother of Brayden, Hudson, Ella, Emmie, Bailey, Skylar, Declan, Taylor, Winston, Molly, Carson, Bennett, Abigail, and Theo; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Lester Gutermuth; four sisters, Jeanette Kapeller, Bernice Tucker, Lorraine Wilkins, and Darlene Sommer.

Ruby was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the quilting club at St. John. Ruby enjoyed sewing and anything with needle work. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Ruby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
