Russell C. Wilshusen, Jr., of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Carol Lee Wilshusen; cherished son of the late Vivian and Russell C. Wilshusen, Sr.; devoted father of Russell C. (Sheri) Wilshusen III, Robin (Tim) Sheffer, and Patricia Rider; loving grandfather of Andrea Wilshusen, Melody Wilshusen, Timothy Joseph Sheffer, and Haley Wilson; treasured great-grandfather of Noah; dear brother of Ronald Wilshusen; and cherished brother-in-law of Jim McKown. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Beth Wilshusen and Carol McKown.
Russell was an avid sports fan who passionately loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He was the patriarch of his family, whom he cherished dearly. Russell was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Cardinals Care.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Beth Wilshusen and Carol McKown.
