Russell D. “Russ” Bichel

Bichel, Russell D. 'Russ', of Saint Charles, MO, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the age of 82. Loving son of the late Carl and Renetta Bichel; devoted father of Scott (Sandy) Bichel, and Christy (Kent)  Jennings; cherished grandfather of Kelsey Jennings, Madison Jennings, Jessica (Brad) Ermeling, Brad Bichel, and Corey Bichel; treasured great-grandfather of Ella, Nora, and Owen Ermeling; dear brother of Lois, Joyce, Norma, Eilene, and Lavonne.


Russ proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, and Am Vets. He had a great sense of humor and didn't know a stranger. He enjoyed playing sports at Wayne High School. Russ was an avid STL Cardinal Baseball and Louisville Basketball fan. He had a tremendous work ethic and a strong entrepreneur's spirit.
