Russell E. Bryant

Russell E. Bryant, age 91, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Park Place Senior Living in O'Fallon, Missouri. A Son of the late Charles Euel Bryant and the late Ursley Bryant, Russell was born on November 2, 1917, in Mirabile, Missouri. Russell entered into service of his country on November 16, 1942 in Tuscon, Arizona as a member of the U.S.Navy during WWII. He was discharged as a Lieutenant on April 22, 1946. Russell was an Executive at Wagner Electric and worked for them for 35 years before his retirement. Russell is survived by his wife, Shirley Bryant (nee: Way); his Children Ann Bryant, Jim (Chris) Bryant, Mike (Anita) Bryant, Russ (Donna) Bryant; his Step-Children Susan (Charlie) Nelson and Stephen (Gretchen) Huber; his 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and Seven Step-Grandchildren; and his Sister, Verna Hart. Russell was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Katherine Bryant. Private Graveside Services will be celebrated at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
