He was born March 20, 1920 to William and Cora (Meadows) Hunter in St. Charles, MO. Mr Hunter was a retired mail carrier and a Corporal in the Army Air Force in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Bates) Hunter of St. Charles; one son, Michael of St. Charles; one sister, Thelma Purgahn; and one brother, Bernie Hunter of St. Joseph, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, June Miller of Dexter, Missouri.
