Ruth A. Brown (nee Inmon), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Lewis J. Brown who passed in 2004; cherished daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Inmon; devoted mother of Julia Brown of Bakersfield, CA and Joyce (John) David of Davenport, IA; dear sister of Nancy (The late Garland) Crites, the late Irene Mitchell, the late Joe Inmon and the late Bill Inmon. Ruth was an aunt to nieces and a nephew, a cousin and friend.
Ruth retired from the Francis Howell School District where she had worked as a secretary and in the payroll department of the Administration Department. Previously, Ruth was employed as a secretary in the high school office at Poplar Bluff High School in Missouri. She and her late husband previously managed a hotel in Columbia, MO as he attended college. They lived in both Florida and Virginia when Lewis served in the Navy. Ruth was a member of Christview Christian Church of St. Charles. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and travelling. Ruth had a passion for history and loved to do genealogy. She had a caring heart and adored animals. Ruth had an artistic mind and enjoyed drawing, painting, and art. Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
