Ruth Edna Bloom (nee Krehmeyer), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Robert Walter Bloom; beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Anna C. Krehmeyer; devoted mother of Deborah (Michael) Wallace and Neal (Cindy) Bloom; cherished grandmother of Jessica (Bobby) Davis, Michelle (Dave) Brower, Marty Laws, Nicolas (Linda) Bloom, Lynn Dawes, Jesse (Jordyn) Wheeler, Samuel Chadwell, Macy Brown; and great-grandmother of eleven and great-great grandmother of two. Ruth is also preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Dawes; and her grandchild, Erinn (Kerry, survives) Ray.

Ruth was married to Robert for over 50 loving years until his passing in 2007. Together, they cherished camping and fishing, sharing a mutual love for the outdoors. Ruth was a loving and kind-hearted woman who served as a lunch lady in the Hazelwood school district for 30 years. She had a warm and generous spirit.

Ruth was also passionate about playing dominoes and was affectionately known as "Ruthie the Domino Queen" at the Boulevard. She enjoyed couponing, was an avid reader, and loved playing canasta with her card group. Ruth was incredibly selfless, always putting her family first. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
