Hughes, Ruth E. NEE:Hammond, of O’Fallon, MO, went home to be with Jesus on Wed., May 11, 2011 at the age of 81. Dear daughter of the late George and Exie Hammond, devoted mother of Kenneth (Joyce) Harris, Connie (David) Gosnell, Carol (Larry) Rader, and Chris Hughes-Robinson; precious grandmother of 18, great grandmother of 24, great-great grandmother of 5, and dear aunt of many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hughes; son, Roy Harris; and sisters, Louise Hammond and Bess Lillibridge.
