Ruth Ann Franklin

Ruth Ann Franklin (nee Long), of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Harrison Eugene Franklin; cherished daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Floy Pearl Long. Devoted mother of Jeffrey (Carol) Franklin and Leanne (Jaime) Alvarado; treasured grandmother of Joshua Franklin, Rachel Franklin, Cassandra Franklin and Nicholas Alvarado; great-grandmother of Oliver Franklin; dear sister of the late Joseph Long. 

Ruth was a woman of faith and taught Sunday School for many years while she attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was married to her loving husband, Harrison Eugene Franklin for over 62 years. She was a wonderful mother and shared many memories with family while camping outdoors. Ruth loved to travel with Harrison and found themselves traveling back to the Smoky Mountains often as one of their favorite places. Ruth was an avid antique collector and loved to find the most unique items. She also enjoyed reading a good novel. Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
