Ruth G. Colter Renick (nee: Colter), of Austell, GA, died on December 13, 2014 at the age of 94. She was born and raised in St Charles, MO, and married the late Hugh G. Renick. She and her husband lived and traveled throughout the US but retired to Parkside Village in St. Charles until she relocated in 2003 to Eagan, MN following her husband's death. She most currently resided at Presbyterian Village in Austell, GA. Ruth was the great-great granddaughter of John Colter who was a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, mountain man, and first explorer of Yellowstone. She was a member of the First United Methodist church of St. Charles, MO. Ruth was an avid contract bridge player, enjoyed knitting and embroidery, and was involved in various charities during her lifetime. She is survived by three children: H. Glenn Renick of Eagan, MN, Anne Scudder of Marietta, GA, and Linda Concannon of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20 at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson St, St Charles, MO. Interment will be at St Johns, UCC cemetery, St. Charles, MO.
