Ruth Meyer

Meyer, Ruth, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Robert T. Meyer; beloved daughter of the late Percy A. and Katherine L. King; devoted mother of Vicki Braun and Robert T. "Ted” Meyer; cherished grandmother of Robin Camp, Russell Meyer and Christopher Meyer; treasured great-grandmother of Rachel Camp, Jonathan Camp, Chase Meyer, Jessica Meyer and Samuel Meyer; dear sister-in-law of Marvin (Gloria) Meyer and Lucia King. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert W. King and Homer King. She belonged to the University of Missouri Extension Service since the 1950's. She enjoyed doing craftwork and was very talented in leather tooling. Ruth liked listening to and playing the piano. She was also very active bowler at St. Charles Lanes and bowled in the Senior Olympics. She was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ.
