Ruthann B. Gardner

Ruthann Beatrice Gardner (nee Pointer), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 81. Loving wife of Gene C. Gardner; beloved daughter of the late Darrell and Ruth Marie Pointer; devoted mother of Kara G. (Brian) Stofer, and Kimberly A. (Bob Neporadny) Gardner; cherished grandmother of Nathan T. (Julia Miller) Gardner, Andrew R. Stofer, and Briana K. Stofer; treasured great-grandmother of Taylor Rose Gardner; sister-in-law of Lenell Alcorn and Jean Gardner; beloved aunt, cousin, and friend. Ruthann is also preceded in death by her sister, Darty Crabbe.

Ruthann was a member of St. Peters Church of Christ. She was an Eastern Star member of the Masonic Lodge, St. Louis, where she sang and danced in shows, she just loved this.  She loved animals and music. Ruthann had a wonderful voice and occasionally sang with the Jackie Graham Trio. She loved to participate in high school musicals at Normandy High, St. Louis. In the early 1960's Ruthann owned and operated her very own beauty shop in Hillsdale, MO until the birth of her first born. Above all else, her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren and granddogs. Ruthann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Ruthann's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
