Ryan Walker

Ryan is survived by his wife of 22 years, Celeste, his son, Jalen, and his beloved dog, Charley Louise; his parents, Dennis and Susan (Isely) Walker of Kahoka, MO; his sister, Lindsey (Aaron) Beckmann of Ashland, MO; sister-in-law Nichole (Dan) Sperry of Rochester, IL; mother-in-law, Kim Bartelt (Bob) of Bradenton, FL; father-in-law, Larry DuPont (Judi) of Rochester, IL; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of very good friends. 

Ryan attended Culver-Stockton College and was a member of the men’s basketball team. He and Celeste met at C-SC and they moved to the St. Louis area in 1998. They were married in 2000 and Jalen joined the team in 2004. 

Ryan was an avid sports fan with specific concentration on college basketball, the NFL, Cardinals baseball, Mizzou basketball and football, and the PGA. One of Ryan’s favorite memories was attending the Masters golf tournament with his dad in 2011. 

Ryan’s professional career included many years of successful sales experience, with the longest stint at Major Brands of St. Louis. At the time of his death, he was employed by The Car Audio shop (St. Louis). Ryan enjoyed helping customers maximize their driving enjoyment with a high-end audio system. Music was a big part of his life – he often expressed his feelings with a song. This final place of employment was a perfect fit for him. 

Ryan was generous, fun-loving, and quick with a joke. He enjoyed a good game of golf with his dad or friends and sitting on a sunny beach. He will be missed by all who knew him.
