Salvatore Joseph Valenti

Salvatore "Sam" Joseph Valenti, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 80. Cherished son of the late Joseph Louis and Mildred Louise Valenti; devoted father of Joseph "Taj" Valenti; dear brother of Nancy Polson, Grace "Sue" (Tom) VanOtteren, and the late Joseph Valenti.

Sam, the founder of the St. Louis Blues Society, wore many hats throughout his life. Juggling various professions, he served as a dedicated school teacher, ventured into real estate, and owned a thriving music production company. Beyond his professional pursuits, Sam immersed himself in the study and practice of Cherokee traditions, embracing their ways wholeheartedly. He found joy in crafting, excelling in jewelry making, and harbored a deep passion for the Blues. Sam's multifaceted life endeared him to many, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
