Sam Capuano

Sam Capuano, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 61 years to Jean Capuano; cherished son of the late Baptiste and Rose Capuano; devoted father of Rosemarie Adams and Theresa (Andy) Frisella; loving grandfather of Randy Adams, Jr., Andy Frisella, Michael Frisella, Lisa Frisella, and the late Paul Adams; and treasured great-grandfather of Nicholas Adams and Noah Adams; and dear brother of Carl (Ellen) Capuano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents and grandson, Sam was preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel Capuano, Tony Capuano, Charles Capuano, and Christine Capuano.

Sam proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Yellow Freight. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, horse racing, golfing, and visiting casinos. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker. Most of all, Sam enjoyed spending time with his wonderful family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
