VITALE, IV, Sam S., Wentzville, MO, October 30, 2006 age 26; dearest son of Sam S. (Lisa A.) Vitale III and Lisa M. (Mick) Vogt; dear brother of Joseph S. Vitale and Antonio V. Vitale; loving future brother of Liv M. Ridgway and Jason Voss; beloved grandson of Sam & Jan Vitale and the late Joe Corea and Catherine Mee; Loving Fiancé of Melissa Voss and loving future son-in-law of Louis E. & Linda Voss. He was a loving nephew, cousin & friend to many. Sam Vitale was a youthful Police Officer in Wentzville. Born and raised here, he was a man with a big heart and even bigger sense of humor. He really knew how to make you laugh. He loved spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle, especially with his riding buddies. He also enjoyed his job. He was a three-year veteran of the Wentzville Police Department. Being on the force was an exciting time for Sam. His family grew exponentially the second he started work. He met some great people and even rode with them off duty. He had a way of being the life of the party and the support from friends and the community have really shown that. Sam was tragically taken from us on Monday, October 30th. Our family is experiencing the worst kind of pain, but we are rallying together to get through it together. Our MANY wonderful memories of Sam helps us to get through this dark time. The family thanks everyone in the community for reaching out to us. To feel that kind of warmth from the life of our dear son, brother, fiancé, cousin, nephew and friend is a touching experience. Sam may have only lived 26 short years, but he lived the BEST 26 years anyone could. That is the lesson he left for us, to live your life to the fullest.
