Samuel Lester Demoss

Samuel Lester Demoss, of Chesterfield, Missouri, formerly of Galesburg, Illionis, died on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Kathleen Demoss (nee: Fox); dear son of the late Samuel Edward and Stella Mae Demoss; devoted father of Tom (Marilyn) Demoss, Beth (Gary) Price, and John (Nanette) Demoss; cherished grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of Margaret Fowler, Lois Bequette, Mona (Jimmy) Jarman, and Paul (Della) Demoss. Samuel is preceded in death by his brothers Gene, Ralph, Ed, and Al Demoss. Samuel was employed as a Railroad Engineer at Burlington Northern for 36 years. He was a member of the Masons, past master in 1990 and 1991 of the Vesper Lodge #584 in Galesburg Illinois, First Baptist Church of Galesburg Illinois, and volunteered as a driver at the Red Cross for over 15 years.
