Samuel Hampton, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Lula Ailene Hampton; cherished son of the late Emerson and Thelma Hampton; devoted father of Tony Lee Hampton, Sr., the late Ricky Lynn Hampton and the late Edith Lori Ann Jansen; loving grandfather of John Hampton, Monica Hampton, Mike Potter, Tony (TJ) Hampton, Jr., Michelle Hampton, Samantha Hampton, Tamara Hampton, Eric Jansen, Scott Jansen, Crystal Jansen (Becker) and many great-grandchildren.
Samuel proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Lions Club. Samuel enjoyed classic cars, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Samuel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
