Sandra "Sandy" Cross

Sandra “Sandy” Cross (nee Anderson), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Robert Cross; cherished daughter of the late William and Juanita Anderson; devoted mother of Michael (Yan Xian) Cross and Judy (Brian) Hancock; loving grandmother of Shanna Berube, Matthew (Kerry) Curtin, Rebecca Curtin, Talon Cross, and Colton Cross; treasured great-grandmother of Jack Curtin, Bob Curtin, Olive Brown, Poesy Brown and Grayson Brown; dear sister of Lenora ( the late Gene) Hoch and the late Nadine (Paul) Frericks; sister-in-law of Mary James; cousin of Barbara (Dennis) Trester; Sandra is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; Sandra is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary (Aurelio) Garcia and Esther (Henry) Anderson.

Sandy married the love of her life, Robert in 1958 and they were married for 41 years. Together, they enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends around the country. She worked at at Baue Funeral Home, as a Real Estate Agent and then as a mail carrier for the St. Charles Post Office. 

Her first love was her family and also loved horses and horse racing. She was a kind hearted woman who was optimistic and giving. Sandy was truly a kind soul, who persevered through a lot throughout her life. She enjoyed playing family poker and card games, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. Sandy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sandra's name to Dementia Society of America or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
