Sandra Montgomery

Sandra Montgomery of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 78 on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Martha Black.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Richard Montgomery; her children, David Montgomery and Jill Allison; and her granddaughter, Jessie Allison.

Sandra and Richard were grade school friends who later married and this July would have marked their sixtieth anniversary. She was a very kind woman with a natural goodness that her loved ones took comfort in. She once wrote that the best days of her life were when her children and granddaughter were born.

There was a special place in her heart for animals and she cherished the companionship of all the pets she had over the years. For fun, Sandra enjoyed swimming, shopping, and had a creative streak where she would make and sell her arts and crafts. She loved to play her favorite game, Yahtzee, and was fond of watching the crime mysteries on the Investigation Discovery Channel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Sandra’s name may be made to the Humane Society.
