MURDAUGH, Sara Huckle, age 52, on Sunday, March 21, 2004. Daughter of Dr. H. Victor and the late Sara Huckle Murdaugh; step-daughter of Betty Murdaugh; sister of Beth and Anne Murdaugh; step-sister of Jenks and Bill Crayton; aunt of Dane and Sara Snyder, and Benjamin and Lianna Holston; niece of Betty Huckle Rader. Sally owned Apropos Gallery and A Shop Called Etcetera in Clayton; was a founding organizer of the Saint Louis Art Fair and Chair of its Artists Relations Committee for 10 years; was a past Board Member of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and recipient of its Excellence in Retail Award in 1995. Sally was a board member of several community organizations, including SSM St. Marys Health Center Foundation, Art Saint Louis, Saint Louis Gallery Association and Washington University Student Entrepreneurial Program. She was a committed volunteer for numerous organizations, including Saint Louis Jazz Festival, AMC Cancer Research, Taste of Clayton, and the Junior League of St. Louis. Sally earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis and her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Washington University, she was Coordinator of the Office of Student Affairs. A service in celebration of Sallys life will be held Thursday, March 25th, 4:00 PM at the Graham Memorial Chapel at Washington University in St. Louis. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27th at St. Saviours Episcopal Church in Bar Harbor,Maine.
