Scott French

Scott Alan French, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of wife, June French; devoted father of Mackenzia and Madisyn French; cherished brother of Brian French, Kevin (Pam) French, late Sandra Hummel, Laura McGowan, Joanna Mitchell, and honorary brother to Roger (Stacey) Davis; adored uncle of ten nieces and four nephews; beloved great-uncle of fourteen; beloved great-great uncle of three; and cherished godfather of two. He was a loving nephew, brother-in-law, son-in-law, cousin, friend, and like a father to many others. He is preceded in death by Father, Bernard French; Mother, Loretta; and great-niece, Braelynn French.

After graduating from Missouri State University he went on to work for the Internal Revenue Service as a Special Agent where he retired from in 2018. Scott’s warm, goofy and charming personality made every person he met his friend. Traveling and exploring new cities with his family, friends, and co-workers was a great passion of Scott’s. He was also a spirited coach for his daughters' softball, soccer, and basketball teams. Scott loved to dance whether it was in the kitchen with his daughters and wife, at his nieces’ and nephews’ weddings, on the dock in front of his friends and neighbors, or on a park table in front of his best friend. Scott was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Scott's name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or 99.1 Joy FM (a non-profit Christian radio station), which brought him great comfort in the last few years.
