Sedigh “Sade” Khachatoryans, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the age of 91. Loving wife of 20 years to the late Sarkis Grigorian; beloved daughter of the late Hayghas and Mariam Khachatoryans; devoted mother of Ani (Dirk) Belcher; cherished grandmother of Ashley (Julio) Encarnacion, Allison (Jace) Craft, and Mitchell Belcher; treasured great grandmother of Cole Craft and Taline Encarnacion; dearest sister of Rose (the late David) Milton, Rafic (Silva) Khachatoryans, and the late Natasha Dawdy; and sister-in-law of Bernard Dawdy; dear aunt to Tiffany, Robert, and Edwin.
Sade worked for Marriott Hotels for 20 years, as a housekeeper, when she came to the United States. Family was important to her, and upon retirement, she was able spend more time with her family, especially her grandbabies and great grandbabies.
Sade was a former prima ballerina and always enjoyed staying active and doing yoga into her late years. In Iran, she taught orphans exercises, dance, and yoga. Sade continued her love of dance while she was in the nursing home, and she taught the residents yoga as well.
Besides dance, Sade loved to watch her soap operas, especially Guiding Light. She was a happy person and lived her life to its fullest. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and warm embrace. Sade was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
