Sharon L. Collins

Sharon L. Collins of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 58 on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Margaret Simek; her children, Cassie Collins and Devon Collins; and her brother, Edward Simek.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, James “Jim” Collins; her son, James (Kristen) Collins, her daughters, Jillian (Mike) Taylor and Paige Collins; her son-and-daughter-in-law, Laurie Hinrichs and Jeff Hinrichs; her siblings, Stacey (Brian) Simek-Dreher and Cory (Gabriela) Simek; her grandchildren, Anna, Jay, Liam, Jaxsen, and Isla; her aunt and uncle, John and Helene Mazzuchelli; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends; and her dog, “Thor.”

Sharon treasured the time she spent with her family and loved to cheer on her grandkids at their sporting events. She always supported her kids and grandkids. Sharon’s generosity and selflessness continued even after death through her organ and tissue donation. She will be dearly missed.
