Sharon F. Leathers

Sharon F. Leathers (nee Ferguson), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late John E. Leathers; cherished daughter of the late Jay Ferguson and Betty Laier. Devoted mother of Jay (Carloee) Leathers; loving grandmother of Scott Leathers; treasured great-grandmother of Luca Leathers and John Leathers; dear sister of Jim (Agaitha) Ferguson. 

Sharon was deeply rooted in her Christian faith, which provided her with strength and guidance throughout her life. She found joy in the simple pleasures, like playing cards with family and friends, often engaging in friendly competition that brought everyone closer. A passionate reader, Sharon especially cherished her time with her book club, where she could share her love of literature and lively discussions. However, her greatest pride and joy came from being "Grammy" to her grandchildren, with whom she created countless memories, always offering them love, wisdom, and unwavering support. Sharon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
