Sharon Lee Sifford

Sharon Lee Sifford (nee Rhodes), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Raleigh G. Sifford, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Blanche and William Rhodes; devoted mother of Raleigh (Shawndra) Sifford, III and Ken (Pam) Sifford; loving grandmother of Raleigh "Ross" Sifford, IV, Matthew Sifford, Mallory Sifford, Zach (Catie) Sifford, and Molly (Collin) Keegan; treasured great grandmother of Raleigh "Jaxon" Sifford, V, Nolan Sifford, and Aubrey Sifford; dear sister of Carol, the late Dolores, and the late Katie.

Sharon was a devoted woman of faith who remained deeply involved in her church throughout her life, playing the organ for many years and volunteering with organizations such as Gideon’s Bible, Mary and Martha, and Samaritan’s Purse. A talented cook who poured love into every dish, she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Raleigh Jr., whom she met when they were just 10 years old. Together, they found great joy in raising their sons and later cherishing time spent with their grandchildren. Sharon loved playing piano, shopping with her sisters, relaxing at the lake, and cheering on her favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. Recently, she was able to enjoy watching the opening day parade on TV with her great-grandson. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
