Sharon Sue Rich (nee Shelman), of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Lee Rich; cherished daughter of the late Arvel Shelman and Mary Burgess; devoted mother of Kimberly (Michael) Tucker and Jennifer (Tom) Wall; loving grandmother of Brittany (Dylan) Belgeri, Courtnee (Samuel) Tvetan, Bryce O' Brien, Makayla, Leah, Addison, and Danni Wall; dear sister of the late Norma (the late Rod) Westeen; treasured aunt of Linda (Dale) Anthon, Bob (Sherry) Westeen, Cindy (Shawn) Yancey; Sharon is also survived by her fur baby, Sammie; Sharon was a great aunt and friend to many.
Sharon was a faithful member of Morning Star Church and a member of Lake Forest Country Club. She was an elementary school teacher for over 25 years, where she retired from the Wentzville School District in 2005. Sharon loved to attend social gatherings, play bridge weekly, and was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan. Sharon and her husband Dan were world travelers, a passion she continued with family and friends for the rest of her life. Sharon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
