Shelby Lynn Mendez (nee Kinman), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the age of 30. Loving wife of Ryan Mendez; beloved daughter of Tamara and Phillip Kinman; devoted mother of Mason Mendez and Sadie Mendez; dearest sister of Daniel Helderman, Bryson Helderman, and Brandi Holdaway; and dear biological daughter of Davi Dawn Courter.
Shelby was smart, witty, and had an amazing sense of humor. She loved her family and was very proud of them, and she truly cherished every moment she was with them. She liked to talk about everything nerdy or political with her husband. She helped her kids with their homework, and she loved watching YouTube videos and movies with them as well. The most fun was playing outdoors with her kids, she was truly a good mom.
Shelby worked as a pharmaceutical technician for several years and really enjoyed it. She enjoyed listening to a variety of different kinds of music, ranging from Billie Eilish to Eminem, and Smashing Pumpkins to Mastodon. She also loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Shelby was very talented and in her spare time enjoyed painting. The fun-loving kid side of her still liked to master the video games, most notably Dragon Age Origins, Skyrim, and The Witcher.
Shelby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Shelby's name to Asperger/Autism Network.
