Sherry L. Fletcher

Sherry L. Fletcher (nee Robertson), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 72. Loving wife of 53 years to David M. Fletcher; beloved daughter of the late Wayne Robertson and the late Patricia Barnett; dear sister of Ann (Jim) Higley, Dian Robertson, Dave Robertson, and Robert (Kimberly) Robertson. 

Sherry met David, the love of her life, on a blind date, and they knew they were meant to be. They soon married on May 8, 1970, after a short courtship. She loved traveling with her husband, and they went on many trips and cruises. Some of their favorite destinations to visit were Cancun, San Francisco, Jamaica and Las Vegas. They enjoyed visiting family and friends all throughout the U.S. 

Sherry was a great seamstress, and she sewed many of her own outfits. She was a wonderful cook and always made fantastic dishes, along with a delicious dessert. Sherry also enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, MASH, and NCIS.  

Sherry has left a huge empty space in so many hearts.  She was so full of life and sweetness.  She left us too soon.  Sherry will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love of family and friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Our family is having a celebration of life on September 9, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 500 Cedar Circle Dr., Lake St. Louis, MO 63367.  All are welcome to come celebrate sweet Sherry.  Please RSVP to the church office on behalf of the family.
