Shirley Ann Baker

Shirley Ann Baker (nee Hill), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Lawrence Edward Baker; cherished daughter of the late Nancy E. and Luther William Hill; devoted mother of Charles (Mandy) Baker; loving grandmother Craig Baker; dear sister of Loretta (Bill) Schaffer; treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. Shirley was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 1 sister. 

Shirley was happily married to Ed for 64 wonderful years, and they enjoyed traveling together. She was a devout member of First Baptist Church of O'Fallon. A terrific athlete, Shirley loved volleyball, softball, and bowling, and excelled at all three. She played all through her childhood and even went on to the adult leagues. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
