Shirley "Jean" Borcherding

Shirley “Jean” Borcherding (nee Lentz), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Elwood "Woody" P. Borcherding; beloved daughter of the late Mary and James Lentz; devoted mother of Mark (Michelle) Borcherding; cherished grandmother of Helena and Nora Borcherding; dear sister of Richard (Joyce) Lentz, Marlyn (Gary) McCafferty, and Bob Lentz; Jean is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.  

Jean delighted in organizing a Christmas baking weekend with her family annually. She had a passion for reading and indulged in crafting, particularly quilting. Traveling with her family and friends on bus trips to destinations such as Branson, MO, brought her immense joy. Jean was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Memorials may be made in Jean's name to St. Charles County Library.
