Shirley Ann Coen

Shirley Ann Coen (nee Neidhardt), of Saint Charles, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Carlton C. Coen; cherished daughter of the late Leroy and Annis Neidhardt; devoted mother of Christine Whittaker and her children Corey and the late Michael Whittaker; Janet (John) Romine and their children Matthew (Cassandra) their child Stacey, and Andrew (Kelsey) Romine; James Coen and his children Angela and James A. (Lexis) Coen; and Karen Coen (Michael Madden) and her children Dylan, and Riley Copilevitz; dear sister of LeAnn (Phelps) Hurford and David (Kathleen) Neidhardt.

Shirley was a member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. She was the wife of a barbershop chorus member, and she enjoyed Barbershop music in general. Shirley loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and was a very loving grandmother. In her free time, she loved to read, watch football, play Bridge, shopping and sewing. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to Alzheimer’s Association.
