Shirley Garofalo

Garofalo, Shirley, of St. Louis, MO, died on Monday, January 26, 2015, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late William Garofalo; beloved daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Harris; devoted mother of Sherry Valone, Barry (Marissa) Garofalo, Mike (Lynn) Garofalo, Jim (Chari) Garofalo, Tom (Linda) Garofalo, and Sandy (Dave) Kaestner; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Eli) Ross, Michelle (Cole) McKinley, Larry Scronce, Sarah (Danny) Katzer, Christy (Chris) Spurlock, Jamie Garofalo, PT Valone, Ryan Garofalo, Christopher Valone, Kristen Kaestner, Kelly Kaestner, Nick Garofalo, Alyna Garofalo, and Kyle Kaestner; treasured great-grandmother of Owen Katzer, Zachary Katzer, Henry Katzer, Layla Ross, and 2 great-grandsons on the way; and dear sister of Linda Hester, Nancy (Ray) Sales, and the late Joyce Comfort.Shirley was a proud graduate of Normandy Highschool, Mizzou, and member & president of Gamma Phi Beta. She was also a wonderful wife and mother, who enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. However, Shirley took the greatest joy from spending time with her family and her friends.
