She is survived by 5 children: Adelia & Richard Ivy of Johns Creek, GA; Laura & John Muskopf of Katy, TX; Maurine & Jeffrey Rapert of St. Peters; Sarah & Danny Green of Cypress, TX; Walter H. Loebel of Hemet, CA; 19 grandchildren: Brian Ivy, Rachel & Blake Ivy, Caitlin (Ivy) & Jeremiah Goss; Christine (Muskopf) & Jorge Caballero, Anne (Muskopf) & J. Andrew Hammond, Karen (Muskopf) & D. Hamilton Rencurrel; Bradley, Drew & Adam Rapert; Susan & Sheldon Green, Whitney & Wade Green, Lindsay, Danielle & Joseph Green; Austin, Heidi, Nicholas, Allison & Emily Loebel; 6 great-grandchildren: Daniel & Andrew Goss; Angelina Caballero; Kathryn, Owen & Elijah Green; by dear cousins, nieces & nephews.
A life-long resident of the St. Louis area, Shirley graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in 1946 & attended Miss Hickey's Secretarial School. She was active in Job's Daughters & Eastern Star. She married Walter O. Loebel, Jr. in 1953. Shirley epitomized the role of domestic engineer as a self-taught master of many skills. She enjoyed cooking, canning, camping, sewing, gardening, upholstering, furniture refinishing, crafting, knitting & crocheting. She loved volunteering for activities of her children & grandchildren.
Shirley was employed by Custom Foam Fabricators, Lisle Ramsey Photography, McKelvey Properties & Coldwell Banker Gundaker & became a licensed real estate broker. She served the community as an election judge for many years.
