Shirley Mae Wade

Shirley Wade (nee Hamann), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 69. Cherished daughter of the late Albert Hamann and Martha Byler. Devoted mother of Kara (Eric) Wakefield and Brianne Murphy; loving grandmother of Emily, Shelby, Katelyn, Ty, Kerrigan, and McCoy; dear stepsister of Diane (Jeff) Wappelhorst and Zola Birk.

Shirley dedicated many years as an executive administrative assistant for Frito Lay. After retirement, Shirley enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels, walking outdoors, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Shirley cherished every moment with her family and will always be remembered as the best cook. She was a supportive and loving mother, grandmother, and sister who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to The City of St. Peters Meals on Wheels.
